"Buck" is a custom, handcrafted guitar made from driftwood washed up on the shore here in Scotland. Absolutely unique, one-off driftwood guitar with loads of interesting old woodworm holes and a great lightning strike on the back.
With a hand-wound humbucker in the bridge and my newly developed, noiseless P90 in the neck - this is a unique sound (a little like the grit and snarl of a Les Paul BFG but with more flexibility and a much more 'open' and 'airy' tone when required). My new favourite pick-up combination!
Plenty of interesting figuring and salting on this piece of driftwood
Lovely honey-coloured, flamed, roasted maple with med-jumbo frets.
"Root" is something a bit different. This one is not built from driftwood but instead from the rootball of a Silver Birch that was knocked down in the last storm here. Quite a lot of resin and a whole lot of time was required to stabilise this wood but it's finally finished..! :)

Think this may be my new favourite pick-up combination!
Plenty going on with this root wood. Lovely honey-coloured roasted maple neck with med-jumbo frets.
This really is a stunning piece of wood - absolutely unique - you'll never see another like it!
Swirling wood patterns, streaks of darker wood and some deep resin fills - there's always something new to look at on this one. (comes with hard-case)
"Smokey" driftwood stratocaster/telecaster hybrid barncaster. Natural grain with scorched edges with an unconventional pickup/tone arrangement.
All 3 pickups are north-pole-up with the bridge and neck ones wired Tele-style & the middle pickup being faded in with the outer ring of the tone knob
Natural driftwood body and lovely honey-coloured roasted maple neck with med-jumbo frets.
Custom tone circuit and hand-wound pickups. (Flight case included)
Centre pup fading to allow changes to the tone from the other selected pickups (to 'warm-up' the bridge pup or add a little extra edge to the neck)
Crazy driftwood 7-string with river of "blood" running through it
Multiple resin pours to give the "Blood" river a 3D effect.
Mahogany neck with jumbo frets. Aerospace grade wiring (as with all Wee Black Dug guitars) ensures that it's all noise-free.
DiMarzio humbucker at the neck paired with the legendary "Seymour Duncan Distortion" giving amazing clarity to cut through the most severe distortion!
"Floyd" driftwood strat. Lovely figuring through this one. Over-wound hum buckers and tremolo bridge.
Lighted aged hardware.
Maple neck with rosewood fretboard.
Current project - still in work.
